so the new line up... most enjoyable gig, lovely looking set up inside the venue, sound was rather good & the dog were on fine fettle liked the new one - attack - & pleased to hear martyr finally included in the set (even if katy wasn't included) nice change of lyrics on chemical to reflect the younger element in the crowd too seemed to take a few to get into your stride, or maybe that was just me, but sounded mighty fine re the album being sung in japanese comment - you do know that even bernard sumner did one song in japanese on their last albums jap release, don't you?

That was an ace gig. As expected. Especially enjoyed the smoke alarm going off after Miss D described previous 'interesting' occurences at gigs, footie fans scuffling, slack jawed teenagers trying to break into a venue via a fence occasioning two portly policemen dashing through, having a look, then leaving(presumeably to finish a large take-away). Was slightly concerned during the fire-alarm that you might be targeting a new break-core fanbase. Also enjoyed watching the 'youth' or some youths from Farrington Gurney entertaining themselves in the children's playground by running, full tilt, into a tree and a swing to knock themselves over. They know how to have a good time in semi-rural Somerset.

maybe they were re-enacting the great scene from intacto where they run through the forest blindfolded?
